You are allowed to rest, but don’t dare give up! – Unknown
Hello everyone! I know it’s been a while since I’ve been here, but I am happy to be back and getting on track with what I love! Fashion and taking pictures! As you can see, I’ve recently gone completely BALD! I absolutely love it and I feel so free! I’ve been away for a bit, as I have been going through a lot with my health. As you know I’m a diabetic, but it’s improving with the help of proper diet, exercise and great support. Sometimes, when your heart isn’t in something, you should put it down for a while, regroup and come back better than you left. Never be in a rush to produce something that is not going to be your very best. My life revolves around presentation and I don’t put out content that I will not be proud of and that you won’t find value in. I hope that you will continue to take this journey with me! Have a great September and I will see you all here next week!

Today was an awesome day! I spent Thanksgiving with my family. It was bittersweet, as my father was not here to celebrate ( he passed in July). I always made it a point to get dolled up for my dad, as he is my King, so today was no exception. It was a cold day in NYC, but it didn’t stop me from wearing my white cotton shirt-dress! I hope you all had an awesome and blessed Thanksgiving with your friends and family! Until Next time💋💙

It was a fairly decent day in New Jersey today and I felt like wearing my favorite white jeans! Who says you can’t wear white after Labor day?! I don’t follow fashion rules! I like to do things my way and really put my sense of style out there. I decided to pull out one of my favorite pairs of ankle boots from Steve Madden from several years ago just to add a cool neutral look to my plaid duster. I cinched it with a thin croc print belt from H&M (old).I created a great fall look with pieces I already owned. You don’t have to go out and shop for new pieces all the time. Sift through your wardrobe and find little hidden gems and pair them with more recent pieces to create a trendy, yet timeless look for yourself!

Today was the most anticipated day of the year for H&M! Alexander Wang launched his line today and it was literally ALL THE RAGE! There are many great pieces to choose from, but I did not partake in purchasing from this years collaboration simply because I did not want to stand on lines, pushing and shoving to get the pieces I wanted and what I wanted was literally sold out in a matter of minutes online! I heard there were ladies fighting and carrying on and that wasn’t something I wanted to do! I love A. Wang and I would have liked to have gotten some pieces, but my safety is more important. For the fashionistas that were able to get in and get what you wanted, I applaud you! I’d love to see what you all do with your selections!
So, last Friday was Halloween and I attended a Hallowedding with a friend! It was the most unorthodox wedding I’d ever attended, but it was a lot of fun! I don’t dress up for Halloween, but I opted to wear my beautiful green peplum dress from KTR Collection and my bow pumps from Steven by Steve Madden!

Tuesday was a great day…running errands and hanging out with my sister. Anyone that knows me knows that I love Disney! There’s something about Mickey and Minnie that remind me of my parents. I love the feel of this sweatshirt! I purchased it last year from Forever21. They always have great sweatshirts. The skirt, I purchased on clearance from Old Navy and the sneakers are Vans for J. Crew ( this season).

Denim is a trend that will last forever. It’s always in style and can be worn so many different ways. You can dress it up, down and even wear it to work on a casual day! You can’t really go wrong with denim. Today was a casual Sunday with my loved ones, so I opted for my Canadian Tuxedo with my favorite leopard T-Strap sandals. My jeans are Grey Ant (old) and my shirt is from American Eagle Outfitters. I hope you’re all having a great Sunday!
Okay, I’m a Jersey girl, but I LOVE New York City! Every chance I get; I visit the city because I love to take in the scenery, the tourists, the shopping, the food and just be out and about with the people of New York City. Lately, I haven’t had a chance to go out to the city as much as I would like to, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t still show it love. A couple of weeks ago I was checking my emails and came across an email from Kohl’s about Ellie Tahari for DesigNation! Naturally I wanted to pick up some things but I’m trying to stay away from shopping for just a little while but I couldn’t pass up this lovely little Georgette top with the view of New York City and yellow taxis across. I decided to wear it with one of my favorite Rock & Republic jeans that I’ve had for years now and some tiger print wedges I purchased about a year and a half ago from Zara. Although it’s fall it’s still very warm out so I didn’t want to cover up my toes just yet! XOXO💙

Everyone hates going to the DMV right? Not me! What I do hate is rainy days if I have to go out. I love being under the covers and relaxing, but that wasn’t going to happen since I had a few errands to run. I wanted to test out my Target for Altuzarra ankle booties. They’re super comfortable and chic. I hope your week has been going smoothly! XOXO Kimsue 💙

Blazers hold a special place in my heart…I know, I know, it’s not quite fall, but it was raining today (any excuse to put on a blazer). I didn’t feel like being exposed, so the perfect piece of clothing to cover up is a blazer! You’ve got to pay attention to detail when wearing prints such as leopard, as they can be overwhelming and can sometimes be worn inappropriately. Everyone knows I love leopard printed pieces and mixing patterns and prints. Leopard is ultimate neutral and can be paired with other prints and solids. If done right, you can really create a bold, groundbreaking look (I will be doing a post on mixing prints soon).decided to pair it with some basic blue skinny jeans and a tank top since it was a casual Friday! I hope you all had a great weekend and enjoy the week ahead! Thanks for stopping by! XOXO
