Looking to spruce up your spring wardrobe? With tomorrow marking the first official day of spring (although it will snow) there are only a few things that you need to add to your closet to make this spring one to remember! 1. Stacked heels – are back in a big way! I was born in the 70s and I am partial to that era in fashion. Stacked heels, unlike stiletto’s are very easy to walk in and give you more balance. Pair them with wide legged jeans for a cool 70s feel.
2. Menswear shoes – As much as I LOVE heels, flats are a must and are very popular right now. you can do so much with flats. you can dress them up or down; with jeans, skirts and dresses!
3. Bucket Bags! – They’re fashionable and functional. If you’re like me, you carry a lot in your purse unless you’re wearing a clutch. I have to carry medication and other necessities, so the bigger the bag, the better.
4. Printed clutches – The best way to print mix is to add a printed clutch and you are instantly in style!
5. Pearl Chokers – Pearls are coming back in a big way. They aren’t just for breakfast at Tiffany’s. You can add pearls to just about any outfit to make a classy statement. To make it a little edgy, make it a choker with pearls! You’re sure to turn a few heads.
6. Big Hats – I for one, am not a fan of hats. I love them, but I don’t wear them much. This is something that I would like to add to my fashion repertoire
More looks from me coming soon, so STAY TUNED!
Thanks for stopping by!

If you live on the east coast, you know the winter we’ve been having, so it’s no surprise that today I decided to step out and and enjoy this lovely 60° weather! I’ve been sort of trapped in the house due to horrible weather and feeling not so great, but today, I figured I’d get out for a little sun! I wanted to keep my look simple since I had some running around to do. I opted for some two-toned skinny jeans, a DIY off the shoulder sweatshirt and my nude pumps! I’m so excited that spring is near and I can’t wait to share my upcoming looks with you!
I hope you all enjoyed your day, yesterday!
Sometimes, you don’t need much to accessorize an outfit. The simplest things can make your look pop! Fringes are a favorite for me! For the past few seasons, fringes have been a staple in fashion and this season is no exception. I’ve been seeing fringes all over the place! On bags, shoes clothing and other accessories. Here are a few of my favorite pieces! I’ll be doing a whole post dedicated to how to sport your favorite looks with fringes added!
Tuxedo dress (old)/V-Neck Tee/Ripped Denim/ Booties/Clutch
There are always pieces in your closet that you can pull together to create another look. The vest I’m wearing is actually a dress that I purchased from Zara years ago! I love the way it fits, but I prefer to add a little edge. Don’t limit your pieces to one style; they can be worked many different ways. I hope you all had a great Sunday!
Leopard Sweater/Jeans/Ankle Booties
Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending Haus of Swag’s event #TheDollHausProject! It was one of the most amazing events I’ve been to this year. There were vendors, bloggers and other entrepreneurs in attendance and I got to meet some really amazing people! As a new blogger, it’s important to network and get to know other bloggers. I am looking forward to many more events like this. I played it cool and casual, because it was a very cold day in NYC! I hope you enjoy!

It was a fairly decent day in New Jersey today and I felt like wearing my favorite white jeans! Who says you can’t wear white after Labor day?! I don’t follow fashion rules! I like to do things my way and really put my sense of style out there. I decided to pull out one of my favorite pairs of ankle boots from Steve Madden from several years ago just to add a cool neutral look to my plaid duster. I cinched it with a thin croc print belt from H&M (old).I created a great fall look with pieces I already owned. You don’t have to go out and shop for new pieces all the time. Sift through your wardrobe and find little hidden gems and pair them with more recent pieces to create a trendy, yet timeless look for yourself!

Are you one of those fashionistas who purchase things and wear them months later?! I am! I purchased these trendy boots from ZigiNY a year ago and I’m just getting around to wearing them. I am not a person who specializes in urban wear, but I really liked them and they are the closest I will get to wearing actual Timberland boots! I was hanging out with my family in Brooklyn and I wanted to be comfortable, but still chic! This is sort of out of the box for me (the boots, that is). I love to play around with different looks. I believe that one should dress according to their moods. My mood right now is fun, edgy and free! These boots are high, studded and funky like my hair! Even if you know what works for you; you can still have fun with your fashion choices and try something you wouldn’t normally try. It makes for great conversation with people who would not DARE step out of their comfort zone.
Today was the most anticipated day of the year for H&M! Alexander Wang launched his line today and it was literally ALL THE RAGE! There are many great pieces to choose from, but I did not partake in purchasing from this years collaboration simply because I did not want to stand on lines, pushing and shoving to get the pieces I wanted and what I wanted was literally sold out in a matter of minutes online! I heard there were ladies fighting and carrying on and that wasn’t something I wanted to do! I love A. Wang and I would have liked to have gotten some pieces, but my safety is more important. For the fashionistas that were able to get in and get what you wanted, I applaud you! I’d love to see what you all do with your selections!
So, last Friday was Halloween and I attended a Hallowedding with a friend! It was the most unorthodox wedding I’d ever attended, but it was a lot of fun! I don’t dress up for Halloween, but I opted to wear my beautiful green peplum dress from KTR Collection and my bow pumps from Steven by Steve Madden!
